It comes with a table top stand, and can also be mounted underneath a cabinet with the optional articulating wall-mount bracket. It features an integrated 180-channel NTSC tuner for standard definition broadcasts and a 4:3 aspect ratio screen. This set features Sharp's proprietary Advanced Super View (ASV) LCD panel technology, which uses an enhanced color filter that permits more light throughput. The screen also offers a low-reflection coating to reduce the effect of sunlight and interior lighting to provide vivid pictures wherever you install your LCD television. This set offers a very good brightness rating of 430 cd/m2 (candela per square meter), which provides a vivid picture even when placed near windows, doors, or other light sources. Other screen features include a 640 x 480-pixel resolution, 170-degree viewing angle, and a 500:1 contrast ratio. Component video (also called Y/Pb/Pr) features a three-jack video input, which provides separate connections for luminance (Y), blue color difference (PB) and red color difference (PR). This results in increased bandwidth for color information, resulting in a more accurate picture with clearer color reproduction and less bleeding than you would get with S-Video or composite (RCA yellow video plug) connections.
